Definite Article Part 1

The definite article is post-positioned in Romanian, which is unique among Romance languages. The Romanian articles are words that combine with a noun to indicate the type of reference being made by the noun. Generally articles specify the grammatical definiteness of the noun. For example in English we have "the, a, and an - there are also other rules".
